Will Brown was appointed Chief Executive of Gloucestershire in 2013, succeeding Tom Richardson, and is also an integral member of the Executive Board at the club. He has built a career in and around sport - his former employers include Betfair, Sportcal, The Lawn Tennis Association and Cricinfo.

Since Willís appointment, Gloucestershire has had a spectacular success at Lord's winning the Royal London one day cup in 2015. Off the pitch the challenges have been many: getting approval for the installation of the floodlights at Nevil Road, involving liaison with the local community in Bristol as well as the local authority; trying to turn Gloucestershire into a 365-days-a-year business (and not only a cricket club); and sustaining ODI status for Bristol as a venue, to name but a few. Will recently told me that the ICC rules and regulations for hosting the Cricket World Cup (CWC) matches in 2019 run to 800 pages!

With his height, Will cuts a distinctive and unmissable figure on cricket grounds at Bristol and Cheltenham. Away from work and cricket, he lives in Bath with a boisterous young family and supports the local rugby team.
